Olive oil & wine experience- Chania city tour

The oldest olive tree in the world is located in Crete:
is over 3000 years old, has a trunk circumference of 12.5 meters, a diameter of 4.6 meters. The olive tree does not grow at random at this place, as the best olive oil in the world comes out, it is essentially the cradle of olive cultivation in Crete. Olive Tree Museum of Vouves: The Olive Tree Museum of Vouves is ideally located next to the special Olive Tree of Vouves. Entry to the museum is free and people gain access to a wealth of exhibits that demonstrate the cultivation of olive trees in the area and the processing of olives for olive oil and other purposes. After this wonderful experience, we will head to an equally wonderful place to discover the secrets of the Cretan (treasure) of Cretan olive oil & Cretan Wine.

Wine & Crete Olive Oil Tour in Anoskeli:
is a small village, there are owned premises including the olive oil & a winery with several varieties of fine local wine. The plant for the olive oil spans over a 400 m2 area including modern machinery, a fully automated bottling line. The winery is housed in a 600 m2 area including modern standardization facility and bottling line, as well as a cellar of 35.000 it storage capacity and 30 French oak barrels.

Tasting Tour!!! Tour & Tasting: 12€ per person. Fee includes a tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 5 brands of Wine. Tasting is accompanied with a dish of fresh bread with olive oil oregano-lemon-salt and a dish of Cretan delicacies (such as two local cheese varieties, tomato, cucumber, olives, smoked ham)

Chania City Tour: The last visit is to the city of Chania to enjoy the wonderful port and the old town
